Campion School Celebrates “70 th Republic Day” With Gaiety, Patriotic Zeal & Fervour Various Patriotic Songs sung by the Students
Campion School Bhopal celebrated Republic Day with a great deal of patriotic zeal and fervour. The event took place on Saturday, January 26, 2019, in school premises. The students from primary to secondary took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity. To mark the importance of this day, a grand celebration was held in the school, and many activities were planned in the school premises. The school echoed with patriotic fervour as the children drew scenes of Republic Day celebrations, sang patriotic songs, and even wore tri-coloured clothes to mark the occasion. The day began with the hoisting & honour of unfurling the Indian tricolour flag by Superior Father Christdhari Kujur S.J., along with Principal Fr. Dr. Athnas Lakra S.J., followed by National Anthem played by School Band.  Salute command given by commanding officer Mr. Johnsy Koshy whereas Pledge was taken by School Captain Master Prabal Gupta. The entire school courtyard reverberated with the rhythmic Patriotic Song sung by Secondary section students and School Band beats of different patriotic songs like “Josh mai Jala Zalzala chala ab rukenge na hum, ab jhukenge na hum” “Mera Rang de basanti Chola”, “Ae Watan Ae Watan humko teri kasam, “Sare jaha se accha”, Aye mere pyare watan” while Primary school students sung Patriotic Songs like “Taaqat watan ki humse hai himmat watan ki humse hai”, “Mera Mulk mera Desh mera yeh watan” etc. Also as A special tribute was paid to soldiers through dance performance by Primary Students on song “Jai Ho  ...Jai Ho” dancing to it with the tricolour flags fluttering in the air. A broad smile could be seen on everyone’s face when the excited primary students got to release the tri-coloured helium balloons into the air. The events followed an excellent speech by Assistant School Captain Master “Aryan Wadhwani”. Active participation was seen from the students, which gave a glimpse of their patriotic fervour towards the country.The school premises reverberated with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. The students brought the stage alive with their passion and love for the motherland. The programme concluded with very inspiring speech given by the Teacher from Primary Section Mrs. Sonia Yadav She said: “It’s not only a Festival nor a chance to celebrate, but it’s a day to remember the entire Indian Martyr’s and giving our tribute or homage to all of them who give his or her entire life to our Motherland India”. A very Big Salute to our Indian ARMY.” The students of today hold the future of their country in their hands. It is important for the welfare of the country that its present generation should realize that the future is in its hands". On this special day, 26 January lets promise our motherland that we will do everything to enrich and preserve our heritage our ethos and our treasure. He said “Freedom in mind, Faith in our heart, Memories in our souls. Let’s salute the Nation on Republic Day”.Master of ceremony done by Secondary section Staff Secretary Mrs. Bhoomika Maheshwari and Vote of Thanks given by Senior Teacher Mr. Mahendra  Kothari. To mark the importance of the day, Vice Principal Fr. Amritlal Toppo S.J., School Bursar Fr. Ashok S.J., Headmistress Sister Lily D’Souza A.C. along with other sisters and senior teachers were also present on this occasion. In the end Sweet distributed to all the students, teachers, staff members.
