ON THE THEME OF “LET’S MOVE TOGETHER” PRIMARY SECTION 54TH ANNUAL SPORTS DAY 2024 ORGANISED IN CAMPION SCHOOL“GRANDEUR MARKS CAMPION 54TH ANNUAL SPORTS MEET 2024”
Campion School’s Primary 54th Annual Sports Day 2024 was held today in the school playground. Almost 1500 students from KG1 to Std.V participated in this event. Principal Fr. Dr. Athnas Lakra S.J., formally commenced the programme with Lighting of the lamp along with Chief Guest Mr. Prateek Hajela (IAS) & Ex-Campionite and Guest of Honour Mr. Vikas Agrawal CBSE Regional Officer, Madhya Pradesh. Chief Guest along with the other dignitaries received the salute during the parade and impressive March Past presented by the four houses students i.e., Nehru House, Ashoka House, Tagore House and Gandhi House of the School followed by the oath ceremony. The chief guest declared the sports meet open. The inaugural programme commenced with the Prayer song and welcome Theme dance by the students. The students display a wide array of colourful and reverberant events and programme such as Happy feets, Flat race, Lemon & Spoon race, Shuttle Relay, Bursting the Balloon, Balancing the Ball, Skipping race, Break the barrier, Going to the Party, March Past, Races, and Drills, P.T., Displayed, formation of pyramids etc. KG1 to V std. students spread the message of ‘Let’s Move together’ through their performances. Students also took part in 4X100m relay. Referee of the meet of this Annual Sports day were Mrs. Sonia Yadav, Asst. Referee of the meet Mr. Khan and Mr. Imraan and Chief Judge Mr. Johnsy Koshy HOD Physical Education Department. Principal Father, Vice-Principal Father, Headmistress Sister gave their best wishes and congratulated to all the sports teachers, teachers and all the Medallists students for their Best, excellent and extraordinary performance in this Mega event “54th Annual Sports Day 2024. Chief Guest & Fr. Principal in his speech said “Sports develops all round development of the body, mind and soul”. As a token of love from school; Mementos were given to the Chief Guest and Guest of honour. Vote of thanks was given by Fr. Vice Principal; Lastly Chief Guest declared the sports meet closed. Students cheered for themselves and signed out for the day and it was over with National Anthem.

FREE GENERAL HEALTH CHECK UP CAMP ORGANISED IN CAMPION BY PEOPLES GROUP
A free health check-up was organised for the entire staff (teaching and non-teaching staff) by the People's Group in Campion School Bhopal. The checkup started with the general health check up of the Management members including measuring the weight, BP, Spo2 etc followed by the checkup of the staff members. The experienced doctors gave valuable advice to all regarding their healthy well-being. Today Health is the most valuable asset in one's life, this checkup proved to be an eye-opener for many who now look forward to a healthy lifestyle. On this occasion Principal Fr. The school playground of Campion School, Arera Colony Bhopal was filled with great zeal, excitement and a Playful atmosphere today as the Students of Secondary celebrated and organised its Annual Inter House Sports Day 2024. The playground had been decorated with flags, buntings and balloons a day earlier. Almost 1000 students from the Secondary school participated in the event. The Principal father Dr. Athnas Lakra SJ, Chief Guest of the occasion Superior & Manager Fr. Kapil Xaxa, Vice Principal Fr. Alok and other dignitaries formally commenced the programme and then the oath ceremony was held. The chief guest declared the sports meet open. Principal Fr. welcomed the esteemed gathering and the dignitaries present on the dais, parents, staff and students of Campion. The fantastic turnout by the students of the four houses i.e., Nehru House, Ashoka House, Tagore House and Gandhi House of the School and the pleasant weather were the perfect boost for the Athlete’s students on their sports day. As class VI to XII scorched the racing tracks, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes. Students of different age groups like Sub-junior, Junior, Interns and Seniors took part in various sports events like 100 mtrs. Finals. Sub-junior and junior 4X100 mtrs. Relay. Interns and seniors 4X400 mtrs. Relay by students is one of the major attractions of this day. Students prepared themselves for this mega event under the Leadership of Principal Fr. Dr. Athnas Lakra SJ and under the guidance of Physical Education Department HOD Mr Johnsy Koshy. On this occasion, scholarship medals, trophies, shields, and cups were also distributed to various students in the school's annual awards in different categories like sports, education, art, etc. Principal Fr. Alok Kujur S.J., give their best wishes and Congratulated Mr. Johnsy Koshy and other sports teachers and all the Medallists students for their Best, excellent and extraordinary performance in this Mega event. Overall Champion House award bagged by Tagore House. A Vote of thanks was given by Management Committee member Miss Veena Bhambhal. Lastly Chief Guest declared the sports meet closed. Students cheered for themselves and signed out for the day and it was over with the National Anthem.

ST. EDMUND CAMPION FEAST DAY CELEBRATION-PRIMARY SECTION
Campion family celebrates’ The Campion Feast day’ on 1st December every year. The day marks the feast of St. Edmund Campion, the patron Jesuit Priest after whom this magnanimous institution has been named. Remembering his teachings and principles Campion Bhopal (Primary wing) celebrated this day with great zeal and enthusiasm on 30th November, 1st December being a holiday. The students presented a prayer dance to seek God’s blessings, a beautiful skit was enacted by the students to comemorate the great Jesuit Priest St. Edmund Campion and his teachings. All the members of the management, the Jesuits of Campion family Bhopal where honored and felicitated during the programme. The celebration was enhanced by a celebration dance by the students. The teachers too wished everyone and expressed their joy for the occasion by singing a song. Finally the gathering was blessed by Dr. Fr. Athnas Lakra S.J. the principal. The entire programme was meticulously planned under the guidance of Sr. Renisha A.C, the Headmistress. In all it was a great celebration extending Love and Peace all around the premises. We wish Happy Feast Day to each and every member of Campion Family.
