We all have Time Machines, some take us back they are Called Memories and some take us forward they are called Dreams, by this teary-eyed quote in mind, the students, staff and management of Campion School, Bhopal bid farewell to the outgoing students of XII Std. A prayer song followed by their thought-provoking speeches, recollecting the memories and the time spent by their seniors in the school and bidding farewell to them with a heavy heart, but with a hope that they fair well in life left everyone teary-eyed. The Programme commenced in the Assembly Hall Lighting the Lamp by Principal Fr. Dr. Athnas Lakra S.J., Superior & Manager Fr. Kapil, Vice Principal Fr. Manoj Minj S.J., Fr. Kullu, and other dignitaries. Class XI students organised & presented various programmes. Various Cultural & Bollywood-style dances on different Bollywood songs were given by the students of the XIth class. Felicitation to the students of XII Std: Based on different rounds, they were given different titles and Mr. Courteous’s award was given from different sections to Master Shawn, Rhidam, Shreyansh, Hardik, Syed Izam, Dibyanshu. Mr. Creative award goes to Master Joel, Savio Sojan, Divyansh, Ansh, Aaroh Dutt, Samagar. Other awards such as Mr. Ever Ready to Help, Mr. Regular, Mr. Consistent and Mr. Well Dressed awards were also given on this occasion to different sections of students. The Most prestigious award of Mr. Campion was given to Master Ameya Joshi. A Vote of thanks was given by School Captain Master Kabeer Marathe.

CUBBING DAY CAMP-PRIMARY SECTION
A ‘Day Camp’ was organised for the cubs and bulbuls of class 5 in the Primary wing of Campion School, Bhopal on last Saturday,7th February. Around 325 students participated in this camp. The Chief guest for the occasion was Sir Shaqueel, a very renowned and a decorated scout trainer of M.P. This great occasion was also graced by Shri V.K. Shrivastava and Smt. Bhagwati Sharma who is a Leader trainer and Commissioner of training from Bharat Scouts and Guide in the presence of Fr. Kapil Xaxa S. J(Manager), Fr. Manoj Minj S.J.(Vice Principal) and Sr. RenishaA.C.( Headmistress). The day began with flag hoisting, prayer service, learning sessions, games etc.The cubs and bulbuls showcased their talent by making charts, masks and participating in cultural programmes. The camp fire was also lit by the dignitaries. After lowering the flag the cubs and bulbuls headed towards their homes with a heart full of joy and happiness along with a sense of brotherhood towards their friends.
INVESTITURE CEREMONY OF CUBS AND BULBULS(PRIMARY SECTION)
On 30th January, around 280 cubs and 80 bulbuls were invested in' The Investiture ceremony 'of Cubs and Bulbuls in Campion School, Bhopal., primary wing. The chief guest was the principal of the school Dr. Fr Athnas Lakra S.J. Vice Principal Fr. Manoj Minj S.J., Headmistress Sr.Renisha A.C. and the other dignitaries graced the occasion with their presence. The ceremony commenced with the 'Flag hoisting ','cub promise ' and finally the 'Grand Howl'. The cubs / bulbuls were invested by the trained teachers of the school Dr. Fr. Athnas Lakra blessed the newly invested cubs/ bulbuls and wished them good luck for their future. Finally, the programme ended with School anthem.
CAMPION SCHOOL CELEBRATED 77TH REPUBLIC DAY WITH PATRIOTIC ZEAL AND FERVOUR. CAMPION REVERBERATES WITH PATRIOTIC SONGS & DANCES
Campion School, Bhopal, celebrated India's 77th Republic Day with great patriotic zeal and fervour. The event took place on January 26 on the school premises. All the teachers from secondary, primary, and pre-primary levels took pride in glorifying and celebrating the day. The school echoed with patriotic fervour. The day began with the honour of the Indian tricolour Flag Unfurling by the Chief Guest of the occasion Col. Shirish Pandey, Principal Dr Fr. Athnas Lakra SJ, followed by the National Anthem. The salute command was given by the commanding officer, Mr Johnsy Koshy, whereas the School Captain, Master Kabeer Marathe, took the pledge in front of all the students and school staff. The courtyard reverberated with the rhythmic Patriotic Song of primary and secondary section students. A choir group of secondary students wore tri-coloured clothes to mark the occasion and sang various patriotic songs. Pre-Primary and Primary tiny tots students dance, mesmerising the audience. A very inspiring speech was delivered by Mr Gerry Gabriel, the Teacher from the Primary Section. The Speech was given by the assistant. School Captain Master Zayaan Yusuf Ali. Various Academic awards were also presented on this auspicious occasion to the students of the Primary and Secondary sections. Academic awards were presented by Mrs Priya Nair, the teacher of the Secondary section. The Master of the Ceremony was performed by the teacher of the Secondary section, Mrs Kreeti Mowar, and the students. To mark the importance of the day, Superior & Manager Fr. Kapil Xaxa SJ, Vice Principal Fr. Manoj Minj SJ,Bursar Fr. Blacius Kullu SJ, Headmistress Sister Renisha AC, Sr. Deepshika, along with other sisters and all the teachers from the pre-primary, primary & secondary sections, were present on this occasion. The highlight was a mesmerizing ballad, The Soul of India Awakens, which vividly captured the essence of the Constitution, key historical milestones, iconic leaders, and the rich yet fading traditions of sports, dance, and music.Students shone brightly through captivating skits, energetic dances, and soulful songs, bringing the nation's spirit to life. As part of the "Joyful Giving Week," primary students and their parents donated generously, and the event concluded with gifts distributed to needy community members of NGO SAMMAN and they inspired everyone present there. The program earned resounding applause from all attendees. A heartfelt thank you to Father Principal Dr. Fr. Alumni students fete teachers in a special ceremony at Campion School
The alumni of the 2000 batch of Campion School organized a Silver Jubilee Alumni Reunion Meet at the school campus. After 25 years, former students returned to their school and relived their cherished memories. Alumni traveled from the UK, USA, Canada, the Netherlands, Denmark, Australia, Germany, Dubai, Singapore, Europe, New Zealand, and many other places to attend the reunion. The event began with a recreated morning assembly, including morning prayer and the thought of the day. Participants sat on their knees during prayer, reliving old traditions with deep emotion. Alumni marched alongside current students, participated in races, played a basketball match, and even celebrated with firecrackers. Teachers who taught the 2000 batch were honored with silver coins, shawls, shreefals, and mementos as a mark of respect and gratitude. The 2000 batch alumni of Campion School, Arera Colony, Bhopal, organized a grand felicitation ceremony in honor of their former teachers at the Loyola Auditorium within the school campus. The event was conducted with immense respect and reverence. The Chief Guest of the program was Principal Father Dr. Athanas Lakra, S.J. The ceremony began with a warm welcome of all teachers present, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Principal, teachers, and alumni. Teachers and Fathers were welcomed with saplings and flower bouquets. Around 85 alumni, along with their families, participated in the reunion. The planning for this reunion began two years ago, which resulted in Campionites from across the world coming together. The main coordinators included Akash Pethiya, along with Abhijeet Sabu, Hari Krishnan, Mayank Khare, Anmol Seth, Vipul Pandey, Tanay Suri, Saurabh Dwivedi, Arpan Jain, Prakash Randhir, Ankit Sen, Mayank Kapoor, Swapnil Saxena, Nishant Chandra, Siddharth Hori, Anant Tiwari, Abhishek Gupta, Prashant Pathak, Pratul Verma, Jomy Mathews, Rakesh Minj, Vikas Bhatt, Amish Pothan, Ashish Sharma, Parul Sharma, and many others. All alumni took responsibility in different capacities to ensure the grand success of the reunion. Secondary section teachers, including Mr. Mahendra Kothari, Ms. Hemlata Deshmukh, Ms. Sonali Shrivastava, and Ms. Premila Murab, were felicitated with silver coins, shawls, shreefals, and mementos. The Principal was also honored with a memento. The alumni expressed that teachers have always held a place of the highest respect in society, as they shape professionals in every field. The purpose of education imparted by teachers is the holistic development of students and the shaping of their character.Studying at Campion School is a matter of pride for every Campionite. During the reunion, family members, spouses, and children of alumni witnessed how Campion School has played a vital role in transforming ordinary students into successful individuals across all fields. Following these reflections, the Principal inspired everyone with his motivational address.Before the program, all alumni paid floral tribute at the samadhi (memorial) of Founder Principal Father E.F.More, located within the school campus.

“JINGLE BELLS, JINGLE BELLS .....“ IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME IN THE CITY”. CAMPIONITES CELEBRATED CHRISTMAS AND PRINCIPAL DAY WITH JOY AND ENTHUSIASM
Christmas is the time to rejoice, love, give and share. It is also the perfect time to celebrate the love of God and family and to create lasting memories. With these thoughts, the students and teachers of Primary & Secondary section of Campion School, Bhopal, celebrated a wonderful Christmas Day along with the Principal’s Birthday. The event took place in Loyola Auditorium with full zeal and fervour. The programme began with the lighting of the Lamp by Principal Fr. Dr Athnas Lakra S.J., Superior Fr. Kapil Xaxa S.J., Vice Principal Fr. Manoj Minj S.J., Headmistress Sr. Renisha, and other dignitaries. Afterwards, a melodious prayer song was presented. Christmas performances followed, conveying the message of Jesus Christ. These included dance dramas, boys' and girls dances, Carol songs, and celebratory dances as part of the Christmas Carnival. Birthday songs were sung by groups of students and teachers to wish the Principal on his birthday. The principal received saplings, bouquets, and Birthday Greeting cards from the Secondary section teachers. The Primary and Secondary section choir groups sang carols, including ‘Joy to the World, the Lord has come’ and ‘Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way’. Teachers presented a skit showing the birth of Jesus, accompanied by melodious carols. This performance depicted the arrival of Santa Claus. The Beautiful Crib Decoration by the staff represented the birth of Jesus Christ. The Christmas tree was also decorated beautifully. Various academic awards were distributed to students on this occasion. Teacher Mrs Gervesia Mary Ekka served as the master of the ceremony.

“GRANDEUR MARKS CAMPION SCHOOL’S 56TH ANNUAL SPORTS DAY 2025. “TAGORE HOUSE” BAGGED OVERALL CHAMPION HOUSE AWARD
The school playground of Campion School, Arera Colony, Bhopal, was filled with great zeal, excitement, and a Playful atmosphere today as the Students of the Secondary School celebrated and organised its 56th Annual Sports Day 2025. The playground had been decorated with flags, buntings and balloons a day earlier. Almost 1000 students from the Secondary school participated in the event. The Principal, Father Dr Athnas Lakra SJ, Chief Guest of the occasion, Lt. Col. Jackson Jose Kottoor(Alumnus of Campion School), Superior & Manager Fr. Kapil Xaxa, Vice Principal Fr. Manoj Minj, and other dignitaries formally commenced the programme, and then the oath ceremony was held. A welcome dance was presented by the girls' students. The chief guest declared the sports meet open. Principal Fr. welcomed the esteemed gathering and the dignitaries present on the dais, as well as the parents, staff, and students of Campion. The fantastic turnout by the students of the four houses, namely Nehru House, Ashoka House, Tagore House, and Gandhi House, along with the pleasant weather, provided the perfect boost for the Athletes' students on their sports day. As classes VI to XII scorched the racing tracks, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes. Students of different age groups, like Sub-junior, Junior, Interns and Seniors, took part in various sports events like 100 mtrs. Finals. Sub-junior and junior 4X100 mtrs. Relay. Interns and seniors 4X400 mtrs. The Relay and Zumba event, organised by Std VIII students, is one of the major attractions of this day. Students prepared themselves for this mega event under the Leadership of Principal Fr. Dr Athnas Lakra, SJ, and under the guidance of the Physical Education Department's HOD, Mr Johnsy Koshy. On this occasion, scholarship medals, trophies, shields, and cups were also distributed to various students during the school's annual awards ceremony in different categories, including sports, education, and art. CAMPION SCHOOL PROUDLY EMERGED AS THE OVERALL CHAMPION IN THE STATE LEVEL ARITHMETIC GENIUS CONTEST
Campion School proudly emerged as the Overall Champion in the State Level Arithmetic Genius Contest – Season 10. The students showcased excellent mathematical skills and secured top positions at the state level. Four students won the Champion Award with a cash prize of ₹10,000 each, along with trophies and certificates, while one student secured the Second Runner-Up Award with ₹5,000, a trophy, and a certificate. With these achievements, the school also won the Overall Champion Trophy and a cash prize of ₹15,000. This achievement reflects the dedication of the students, the guidance of the teachers, and the strong support of the school management.

The exhibition for Classes 3 to 5 was held today in the Pre-Primary Building of Campion School, Arera Colony, Bhopal. The Chief guests of the occasion were Principal Dr Fr. Athnas Lakra SJ, Manager Fr. Kapil, Headmistress Sr. Renisha AC, along with Sr. Deepshikha and other dignitaries, who were present with all the Pre-primary and Primary school teachers and staff to mark the occasion. The lighting of the lamp was done by Principal Fr. Dr Athnas Lakra S.J., Superior & Manager Fr. Kapil Xaxa, Headmistress Sr.Renisha AC, other Sisters, etc. The day programme began with a welcome Prayer Service, a song and prayer dance by the students, and a girls’ dance. Thereafter, the exhibition commenced, featuring the Knowledge & Skills Exhibition, where students presented working and non-working models, charts, experiments, and creative displays on subjects such as science, mathematics, computers, English, Hindi, technology, environment, social studies, and art. They explained their projects confidently to the Principal, Headmistress, teachers, parents, and visitors. As the quote rightly states: -Teamwork divides the task and multiples the success! Many students demonstrated simple experiments and shared the ideas behind their models. The culmination of their efforts saw students assemble their projects in class under the guidance of their teachers. Their creativity, teamwork, and enthusiasm were clearly seen. The exhibition provided students with a great platform to showcase their talents and learn through hands-on activities. The enthusiastic students exhibited their imagination through innovative experiments and models. Students actively participated in gathering materials for their projects from home, demonstrating resourcefulness and parental involvement. The projects were demonstrated in the presence of parents. Everyone appreciated their hard work. It was a day where fun, creativity, and education came together in the most colourful and exciting way. The Programme was concluded with the motivating words of the Principal Fr. He highlighted the importance of teamwork. He also appreciated the students for their commendable performance.

Campion School's 57th Annual Day was celebrated today on the school premises with grandeur, vibrancy, and enthusiasm. The evening began with the school's Band Group escorting the Chief Guest, Guests of Honour, and the Principal. All guests received a floral welcome, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, Mr. Pradeep Kumar Upadhyay (Alumni 1985 batch), Head of Unit, BHEL Bhopal, along with his wife, Guests of Honour Dr. Punit Dixit, Director of Paras Hospital, and his wife, as well as the Principal Fr. Dr. Athnas Lakra S.J., Superior & Manager Fr. Kapil Xaxa S.J., Vice Principal Fr. Manoj Minj, Fr. Blacius, Headmistress Sr. Renisha AC, senior teachers, and other dignitaries. Welcome Speech was given by Fr. Principal. Over 1000 students from the primary classes, KG. I to II, participated and made the event enjoyable for all. Multiple cultural programs, including English plays, Hindi skits, dances, dramas, songs, action songs, and Bollywood dance performances, were staged by the students. This year's theme, 'Threads of Time Ties for Tomorrow,' showcased the value of Jesuit education through skits, a spiritual prayer song, a welcome dance, and a dance drama emphasising the importance of education at Campion and globally. The skits delivered key messages about Campion School's educational philosophy. Activities such as plays, skits, songs, Bollywood dances, and anchoring allowed students to display their talents. The theme was clearly expressed through a meaningful skit, colourful dances, and the Grand Finale. An LED screen displayed vibrant visuals, enhancing student performances. The Headmistress, Sister Renisha, presented the academic year 2024-25 report. The Chief Guest and Guests of Honour addressed students, and the achievements of the current academic session were highlighted during a slideshow. At the Awards and Prize Distribution ceremony, dignitaries presented prizes to academically meritorious students. As a gesture of appreciation, mementoes were given to the Chief Guest and Guests of Honour by the Principal and management. The event concluded with the Grand Finale featuring over 1,000 students in various performances. The stage was mainly conducted by primary teachers Mrs Bushra & Megha Fadnavis. “BAAL MELA” MARKS “CHILDREN’S DAY” CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATED WITH FUN & FROLIC AT CAMPION
Campion School, Arera Colony, celebrated Children’s Day today with full zeal, Fun, Frolic, and Enthusiasm on the School Premises. This Year, the school organised a ‘Baal Mela’ to mark Children’s Day with a difference. The school organised a Fair, Fete, or Stalls, especially for Students, today at the school premises. A special celebration was organised by the school management, the Cultural committee, teachers and staff for the students. The programme began with the Lighting of the lamp & garlanded the photo of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru by Principal Fr. Dr Athnas Lakra S.J.,Vice Principal Fr. Manoj Minj., Headmistress Sr. Renisha A.C. , Sr. Deepshikha and students. After the Formal opening declaration of the Fete by the Principal Father, the school premises were abuzz with activities. An array of stalls with mouth-watering food items, exciting games stalls, a DJ, a Magic show, a Camel ride, paint your plant green, a Selfie point, Swing, a Talent hunt, and surprising gifts were the main attractions of the fete. The fair, held at the playground, made the school premises more vibrant and cheerful. The teachers put up various food stalls offering a variety of lip-smacking snacks. Multiple stalls of food items and fun games for the students were set up by enthusiastic teachers on the school grounds. It was a festive atmosphere with children accompanied by their school friends and participating in various activities. The idea was to look beyond the curriculum and celebrate their individuality. Fete was a wonderful day filled with much laughter, fun and community spirit-building activities. The rides, games, Mouth-watering food arena, dancing, DJ, and the main attraction of the day for which the students were waiting was Live DJ & Rock Band, and live entertainment were allextremely successful. The Cultural Committee and the wider teacher body worked tirelessly to prepare for the day. The school’s Live DJ Rock band also played some foot-tapping music. Students took turns to shake a leg on the dance floor. Various activities and events were organised and performed by teachers. Programmes included informative play, enactment and songs. Colourful programmes were presented by teachers of the school to celebrate Children's Day. It was a fun-filled day for the students of the school. The smiles, laughter and giggles added to the charm of the day. “Baal-Mela” concluded with a jam session where students rocked the floor on foot tapping numbers.
