‘The more you praise and celebrate life; the more there is in life to celebrate’. Principal’s Day- A celebration of the students, by the students, for their mentor, philosopher and guide, Rev. Father Dr. Athnas Lakra SJ took place with great fervour and enthusiasm, on 20th January 2025, his birthday in the Loyola Auditorium. Rev. Father Principal was accorded a traditional welcome, with the Pre Primary students, who joyously wavered pompoms, on his arrival. After invoking’s God’s blessings, by lighting the lamp by Fr. Dr. Athnas Lakra S.J., Superior & Manager Fr. Kapil Xaxa S.J., Bursar Fr. Blacius., Headmistress Sr.Renisha, Sr. Deepshikha along with other dignitaries, a spiritual prayer service followed by a prayer dance was performed. The rhythmic dances and lyrical and melodious songs made the atmosphere jubiliant. Birthday songs were sung by the group of students to wish the Principal father on his birthday. Father was felicitated with bouquets and saplings by students representatives from KG 1 to V showcasing the love and respect for a Principal, whose legacy will be remembered fondly ‘Cake cutting’ made the day more ceremonious. Rev. Father Principal was very much touched by the adoration and enthusiasm of the Junior Campionites and blessed each and everyone with his impactful and emotional speech.

CAMPIONITES HARSHALI, RITVIK AND ADUAIT BAG FIRST POSITION AT THE STATE LEVEL IN THE ARITHMETIC GENIUS (SIP) CONTEST AND ARE SELECTED FOR THE NATIONAL COMPETITION CAMPION SCHOOL HOLDS THE CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY
Three Brilliant Students of the Primary Section from Campion School Bhopal, Miss Harshali Sharma, Ritvik Chourey and Aduait Bokde participated in the Arithmetic Genius (SIP) Contest. They bagged the First position in this State Level Competition. In this competition Harshali Sharma won ten thousand rupees cash prize, trophy and Certificate, Aduait Bokde won seven thousand rupees cash prize, trophy and Certificate and Ritvik Chourey won five thousand rupees cash prize, trophy and Certificate respectively. This excellent performance by all of them made the institution and the State proud and Campion School also holds Championship Trophy in this State Level competition. Mrs. Sonia Yadav and Mrs. Saba Begum were the coordinators of this competition. Principal Fr. Dr Athnas Lakra, S.J., Vice-Principal Fr. CAMPION SCHOOL 1999 BATCH CELEBRATED SILVER JUBILEE ALUMNI MEET CUM REUNION ON THE SCHOOL CAMPUS. ALUMNI STUDENTS FETE TEACHERS IN A SPECIAL CEREMONY AT CAMPION SCHOOL
The 1999 batch of Alumni students of Campion School Arera Colony Bhopal organized a teacher’s felicitation programme at Loyola Auditorium today on school premises. Students belonging to the 1999 batch of the Campion school felicitated the primary & secondary senior teachers of the School. The programme started with welcoming & escorting teachers to the auditorium and giving a tribute to Fr. E F More with Prayer Service Song. The welcome felicitations of fathers and teachers were done with bouquets and saplings. After welcoming, the programme began with lighting the Lamp by Principal Dr. Fr. Athnas Lakra S.J., Vice Principal Fr. Alok Kujur S.J., along with Alumni students and other dignitaries. On this auspicious occasion, the alumni students presented Shreefal, shawls, gifts and mementos to teachers and felicitated them. The alumni students went nostalgic about their school days and addressed one another affectionately. This day had an emotional and recreational touch. Their eyes became wet out of happiness. The Alumni batch of 1999 members presented different Gifts as a token of love & respect for teachers. Lots of Programmes such as Morning Prayer, thought of the day, March past, racing, volleyball match, & dances took places on this day programme. The teachers, in their message, urged the students to work honestly and sincerely in their chosen fields. Principal Fr. Dr. Athnas Lakra S.J., Vice Principal Fr. Alok kujur S.J., and all the senior teachers from the Primary & Secondary section were present on this occasion. This program was organized by Alumni (Ex-Campionites) students of Batch 1999 Mr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Dr. Justin Lobo, Dr. Gaurav Beohar, etc. On this auspicious occasion, Principal Fr. Said “It is a good gesture of respect by Alumni members towards the teachers and staff of Campion School”. Memento was given to Principal Fr. Dr. Athnas Lakra S.J., also by alumni members, Principal Father with Staff visited Founder Principal Fr. E F More grave to pay homage.

“JINGLE BELLS, JINGLE BELLS.....“ IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME IN THE CITY”. CAMPIONITES CELEBRATED CHRISTMAS DAY & PRINCIPAL DAY WITH FULL ZEAL AND FERVOR
“Christmas is the time to rejoice, love, give and share. Christmas is the perfect time to celebrate the love of God and family and to create memories that will last forever. By taking these beautiful thoughts, values, and Christmas celebration mood in mind; students & teachers of Campion School, Bhopal witnessed and celebrated a wonderful Christmas Day along with The Principal’s Birthday in Loyola Auditorium with full zeal and fervour. The programmes commenced with lighting the Lamp done by Principal Fr. Dr. Athnas Lakra S.J., Superior Fr. Kapil Xaxa S.J., Vice Principal Fr. Alok Kujur S.J., Headmistress Sr.Renisha along with other dignitaries. Thereafter, a melodious prayer song was presented. The message of Jesus Christ is shown through the different Christmas messages, such as dance drama, boys’ dance, Carol songs and celebration dances in this Christmas Carnival programme. Birthday songs are sung by the group of students & teachers to wish the Principal father on his birthday. Saplings, Bouquets and Birthday Greeting cards are given to the principal Fr. Dr. Athnas Lakra SJ on his birthday by the Secondary section teachers. Secondary teachers’ choir groups gathered and sang carols, ‘Joy to the World the Lord has come’ and “Jingle Bells Jingle Bells Jingle all the way” Merry Christmas carol songs. Birth of Jesus was shown in the form of a short skit along with the melodious Christmas carols presented by the teachers with rhyme and rhythm depicting the arrival of Santa Claus. The birth of Jesus Christ was shown through the Beautiful Crib Decoration by the staff of the school. The Christmas tree was also decorated beautifully. On this occasion, various academic awards were also distributed to the students.

ON THE THEME OF “LET’S MOVE TOGETHER” PRIMARY SECTION 54TH ANNUAL SPORTS DAY 2024 ORGANISED IN CAMPION SCHOOL“GRANDEUR MARKS CAMPION 54TH ANNUAL SPORTS MEET 2024”
Campion School’s Primary 54th Annual Sports Day 2024 was held today in the school playground. Almost 1500 students from KG1 to Std.V participated in this event. Principal Fr. Dr. Athnas Lakra S.J., formally commenced the programme with Lighting of the lamp along with Chief Guest Mr. Prateek Hajela (IAS) & Ex-Campionite and Guest of Honour Mr. Vikas Agrawal CBSE Regional Officer, Madhya Pradesh. Chief Guest along with the other dignitaries received the salute during the parade and impressive March Past presented by the four houses students i.e., Nehru House, Ashoka House, Tagore House and Gandhi House of the School followed by the oath ceremony. The chief guest declared the sports meet open. The inaugural programme commenced with the Prayer song and welcome Theme dance by the students. The students display a wide array of colourful and reverberant events and programme such as Happy feets, Flat race, Lemon & Spoon race, Shuttle Relay, Bursting the Balloon, Balancing the Ball, Skipping race, Break the barrier, Going to the Party, March Past, Races, and Drills, P.T., Displayed, formation of pyramids etc. KG1 to V std. students spread the message of ‘Let’s Move together’ through their performances. Students also took part in 4X100m relay. Referee of the meet of this Annual Sports day were Mrs. Sonia Yadav, Asst. Referee of the meet Mr. Khan and Mr. Imraan and Chief Judge Mr. Johnsy Koshy HOD Physical Education Department. Principal Father, Vice-Principal Father, Headmistress Sister gave their best wishes and congratulated to all the sports teachers, teachers and all the Medallists students for their Best, excellent and extraordinary performance in this Mega event “54th Annual Sports Day 2024. Chief Guest & Fr. Principal in his speech said “Sports develops all round development of the body, mind and soul”. As a token of love from school; Mementos were given to the Chief Guest and Guest of honour. Vote of thanks was given by Fr. Vice Principal; Lastly Chief Guest declared the sports meet closed. Students cheered for themselves and signed out for the day and it was over with National Anthem.
