Campion School, Bhopal, organised the prestigious St. Edmund Campion Gen-B Inter School Competition on October 15, 2026, with enthusiastic participation from various schools across Bhopal. The event was full of creativity, fun, and fresh ideas, giving students a chance to showcase their marketing skills in an exciting way. The competition was organised with the objective of encouraging young minds to think creatively, develop innovative concepts, and explore the practical applications of marketing in an engaging and competitive environment. The event witnessed an energetic atmosphere filled with enthusiasm, originality, teamwork, and healthy competition. Students from participating schools displayed remarkable confidence and a willingness to experiment with new ideas, making the occasion both enriching and memorable. The event featured two competitions. In MADVERTISEMENT, students came up with creative advertisements and performed them to promote and sell their products. The competition was filled with innovative ideas, humour, and entertaining performances. In Sa Re Ga Marketing, participants presented their brand stories through popular Bollywood melodies, combining music and marketing in a unique and enjoyable way. The students impressed everyone with their imagination, confidence, and presentation skills. Their performances showed how advertising can be both creative and entertaining. The overall winner of the competition was St. Joseph’s Co-Ed School, Arera Colony, St. Xavier’s School, Awadhpuri, secured the First Runner-Up position, while St. Joseph’s Co-Ed School, Kolar Road, was declared the Second Runner-Up. The competitions were judged by Mr Roopak Khare, Mr Shaswat Pandey, and Mr Harshal Bhawsar, an alumnus of Campion School. Their presence added value to the event and encouraged the participants. INDIAN RUNWAY – CULTURES OF INDIA FASHION SHOW-KG-I
Campion School, Pre-Primary Section, Bhopal, organised a vibrant and colourful fashion show titled “Indian Runway – Cultures of India” on 14th October 2026 in the school auditorium. Our Respected Headmistress, Sister Renisha AC, and Sister Deepshikha AC graced the event. The event celebrated India's rich cultural diversity, traditions, and heritage through the enthusiastic participation of the tiny tots of KG-I. The little stars of KG 1 confidently walked the runway, beautifully showcasing the diverse traditions, colourful attire, and rich cultural heritage of our incredible nation. Each costume reflected the uniqueness of different Indian states, spreading the message of unity in diversity. Their charming appearances showcased the uniqueness of Indian customs, costumes, and traditions, reflecting the spirit of “Unity in Diversity.” The event provided a wonderful platform for the young learners to express themselves, overcome stage hesitation, and develop confidence. The fashion show was not only an entertaining spectacle but also an educational experience that helped children develop an early appreciation of India's diverse cultural heritage. The enthusiasm, innocence, and confidence of the little participants made the programme a delightful and memorable occasion. They proudly brought home a Run-Off Certificate.

CAMPION SCHOOL WINS OVERALL CHAMPIONSHIP IN BOTH BOYS’ AND GIRLS’ CATEGORIES AT THE 70TH DIVISIONAL-LEVEL INTER-SCHOOL ROLLER SKATING COMPETITION
Campion School, Bhopal, delivered an outstanding performance at the three-day 70th Divisional-Level Inter-School Roller Skating Competition, recently organised at the skating rink of Gyanodaya Residential School, Katara Hills, Bhopal. The school’s skaters won 25 medals in total, including 13 gold, 10 silver, and 2 bronze. With this remarkable achievement, Campion School secured the Overall Championship Trophies in both the boys’ and girls’ categories. The School Education Department (SGFI), Government of Madhya Pradesh, organised the competition. Campion skaters Kashvi, Rishika, Divyansh, Rishika Shinde, Jewel Shaji, Yashneel, Md. Abaan, Nish, Shobhit, Sambhav and Shaun Xalxo won gold, silver and bronze medals across various skating events, bringing the school’s total medal tally to 25; 10 players were selected for the state-level competition. With these achievements, Bhopal Division emerged as the Overall Champion. Approximately 300 student skaters from various schools in Bhopal, Sehore, Vidisha, Raisen and Rajgarh participated in the competition. The skaters achieved this success through regular training at the skating rink under the guidance of Campion School’s Physical Education teachers and coaches, Mr Sanjay Mishra and Ms Meenakshi Rajput. INTERACTIVE CAREER GUIDANCE SESSION EMPOWERS STUDENTS OF CLASSES IX–XII
A career exploration and guidance session was organised for students of Classes IX to XII, focusing on helping them make informed decisions about their academic and professional futures. The session was led by Mr. Vishal Rathore and Mr. Tannay Sharma, who engaged students in an interactive discussion on career planning and development. The session covered key aspects of career exploration, including when and how to begin choosing a career, the steps to follow from Classes IX to XII, and the process of creating a structured career roadmap. Students also gained insights into opportunities for free international education and various entrance examinations for Indian universities.The entire session was highly interactive, encouraging students to actively participate, share their queries, and seek guidance on diverse career pathways and higher education opportunities. The session aimed to equip students with greater awareness, clarity, and confidence to plan their academic journeys and make well-informed career choices for the future. WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY OBSERVED AT SCHOOL
Theme: “The Weight We Cannot See”
World Mental Health Day was observed at the school on 9 October, a day ahead of its official observance on 10 October, through a series of meaningful activities aimed at promoting mental health awareness, empathy, resilience, and emotional well-being. The programme was organised under the able leadership and guidance of Principal Father Amrit Lal Toppo SJ, Vice Principal Father Fabianus Toppo SJ, Sister Jasinta, and School Counsellor and Teacher Mrs. Meenakshi Williams. The programme began with a nukkad natak (street play) presented by students from Classes VI, VIII, IX, and XI. The performance engaged the audience and formed an integral part of the programme. This was followed by a thought-provoking speech by Alfred Matthews Philip, titled “The Weight We Cannot See,” which highlighted the silent struggles people often carry behind their smiles and emphasised the importance of recognising emotional distress that may not always be visible. The school choir presented a soulful song on the theme of resilience, conveying a message of hope, courage, and inner strength in the face of life’s challenges. Another insightful segment, “The Meaning Behind Mental Health,” was presented by Agha Abdul Ali Khan. It encouraged the audience to look beyond labels and misconceptions, highlighting the importance of challenging stigma and approaching mental health with empathy, sensitivity, and understanding. The programme concluded with a heartfelt address by Salik Qureshi, who reminded everyone that “Every struggle does not announce itself.” His concluding message emphasised the importance of listening without judgement and being present for those who may be struggling silently. He encouraged everyone to look beyond appearances and ensure that when someone finds the courage to say, “I’m not okay,” they find someone willing to listen. The observance served as a meaningful reminder that mental health awareness begins with empathy, kind words, and genuine conversations. It inspired everyone to be more mindful of others’ feelings and to help create a supportive environment where no one feels alone in their struggles. “Sometimes, you don’t need to have the right words. POCSO AWARENESS PROGRAMME ORGANISED AT CAMPION SCHOOL
An awareness programme on POCSO, cyber fraud, bullying, and child safety was organised at Campion School by the Awaaj Jan Kalyan Committee in association with the District Education Officer (DEO), Department of Education. The programme was conducted for students of Classes VI to XII to educate them about child protection, online safety, cybercrime prevention, and the harmful effects of bullying. The resource person explained the importance of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, highlighting its role in safeguarding children and ensuring their safety, dignity, and well-being. Students were made aware of their rights, the importance of safe internet practices, and the steps to take in cases of abuse, harassment, or cyber fraud. The programme aimed to encourage students to remain alert, responsible, and confident in reporting any unsafe or inappropriate behaviour. Special emphasis was placed on creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for children both in school and in the digital world. CAMPION SCHOOL ORGANISED SPECIAL MORNING ASSEMBLY TO OBSERVE ‘SWACHHATA PAKHWADA’
Students Took Cleanliness Pledge and Shared Inspiring Thoughts on Environmental Hygiene.
A special morning assembly was organised at Campion School, Bhopal, to mark the observance of ‘Swachhata Pakhwada’, instilling a deep sense of responsibility towards cleanliness and environmental protection and promoting cleanliness and hygiene among students. The programme was conducted under the leadership of Principal Fr. Amritlal Toppo S.J., with guidance from the Vice Principal Fr. Fabianus Xalxo SJ, Senior Teacher Mr Mahendra Kothari, and Programme Coordinator Mrs Archana Choubey. The assembly highlighted the importance of keeping the school, home, and surroundings clean and encouraged students to adopt responsible, sustainable habits in their daily lives. Through thoughts, speeches, poem recitation and awareness activities, students were motivated to become active participants in keeping their surroundings clean. The programme reinforced the message that cleanliness is a shared responsibility and inspired students to contribute towards a healthier, cleaner, and greener society. Designed to give students a productive break from standard academic routines, the initiative encourages physical fitness, creative expression, technical skill enhancement, and personal leadership, offering opportunities to explore interests, develop new skills, and promote holistic personality development beyond regular classroom learning. The Saturday Activity programme includes a wide variety of sports, arts, creative, cultural, technological and skill-based activities curated across different grade levels. To promote fitness, agility, and team spirit, the school hosted interactive sessions across multiple indoor and outdoor sports. Students can participate in Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Football, Cricket, Skating, Boxing, Chess, Carrom Board, Karate and Self-Defence. During the celebrations, a special morning assembly was also held, featuring Hindi poems, speeches, thoughts, and cultural presentations. The day programme started with a welcome Prayer Service, Song & prayer dance by the students and a girls’ dance. The students sang a greeting song. The student musical group rocked the stage with their performance. Boys' dance & filler were one of the major attractions of the day. Secondary section, Girls and boys’ students presented western dance in different Bollywood songs and styles. Fusion dance and Hip-Hop dance, Celebration dance were awesome. Students showcased their ability with accuracy, flexibility and good coordination. Scintillating programmes by students marked the Teachers’ Day celebrations. A Special Morning Assembly was conducted on the occasion. The assembly featured inspiring thoughts, speeches and activities highlighting the importance of physical fitness and sports in students’ lives. Students were also made aware of the remarkable contribution of Major Dhyan Chand to Indian hockey and the significance of National Sports Day. “TAGORE HOUSE” WON THE TITLE OF THE INTER-HOUSE LITERARY COMPETITION. INTER-HOUSE LITERARY COMPETITIONS WERE HELD AT CAMPION SCHOOL
Campion School, Bhopal, organised a series of engaging Inter-House Literary Competitions aimed at nurturing students’ language skills, creativity, confidence, critical thinking and communication abilities. The competitions provided students with a vibrant platform to showcase their literary talent and compete in a spirit of healthy competition. The programme was graced by the Chief Guest and Principal, Rev. Fr. Amritlal Toppo S.J., along with the Vice Principal, Fr. Fabianus Xalxo S.J., and the management member, Mrs Komal Sharma. Mrs Chandra Bhargava, Mrs Sadhana Agarwal, and Mrs Rajashree Kamat served as judges at this event. Their presence encouraged the students and added significance to the occasion. The events were thoughtfully designed for different age groups. Class VI students participated in the Spell Bee Competition, where they demonstrated their vocabulary, spelling accuracy and command over the English language. The competition tested their concentration, memory and quick thinking. For Class VII, a Masquerade Competition was organised, allowing students to express themselves creatively through characters, presentation and effective communication. Their performances reflected imagination, confidence and originality. The Class VIII students participated in an Inter-House Quiz, which tested their general knowledge, awareness, presence of mind and teamwork. The enthusiastic participation of the students made the quiz an exciting and intellectually stimulating event. For Classes IX and X, the Romantic Rhapsody Competition provided students with an opportunity to explore literary expression, emotions, presentation skills and creativity. The participants presented their ideas with confidence and expressive flair. The senior students of Classes XI and XII took part in a Panel Discussion, where they expressed their views on relevant topics and demonstrated their ability to articulate ideas, listen to different perspectives and engage in constructive discussion. The event encouraged critical thinking, logical reasoning and effective communication. The competitions witnessed enthusiastic participation from students representing the various Houses. The participants displayed remarkable preparation, confidence, creativity and team spirit throughout the events. CAMPION SCHOOL KG-II STUDENTS CELEBRATE “MONSOON MAGIC” THROUGH FANCY DRESS COMPETITION
Campion School, Bhopal, organised a colourful and delightful Fancy Dress Competition for the KG-II section on the enchanting theme “Monsoon Magic.” The event provided the young learners with an opportunity to express their creativity and joy through vibrant monsoon-inspired costumes. The little ones arrived dressed as beautiful peacocks, cheerful frogs, sparkling raindrops, colourful rainbows, fluffy clouds and thunder. At the same time, some children creatively portrayed raincoats and other elements associated with the rainy season. Their adorable costumes, confident presentation and innocent expressions filled the atmosphere with excitement and enthusiasm. CAMPION ROLLER SKATERS BAGGED 1 GOLD, 2 SILVER & 3 BRONZE MEDALS IN THE CBSE WEST ZONE ROLLER SKATING C’SHIP. TWO ROLLER SKATERS SELECTED FOR NATIONALS
Roller skaters from Campion School Bhopal performed excellently at the CBSE West Zone Roller Skating competition and bagged One Gold, Two Silver, and Three Bronze medals. This CBSE West Zone roller skating competition was held recently at the skating rink of SRN Public School in Jaipur, Rajasthan. This West Zone competition was organised by the CBSE. Roller skaters from Campion School, Abaan Farooqui won 1 Gold & 1 Bronze, Divyansh Lagalwar won 2 silver medals, Kashvi Sharma and Anvita Singh won 1 Bronze respectively, along with a trophy and Certificate of Merit in their different age and categories. All the skaters prepared themselves for this competition under the guidance of their Physical Education Teacher & Coach, Mr Sanjay Mishra. In this competition, more than 1,200 boys and girls roller skaters from different CBSE schools in Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Daman and Diu participated. Divyansh Lagalwar and Abaan Farooqui are qualified for the CBSE National Level Roller Skating Competition, which is going to be held in the month of October in Belgaum, Karnataka. Principal Fr. Campion School, Bhopal, celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day on August 15, 2026, with great patriotism, joy, enthusiasm, and zeal in the Secondary section Assembly Hall and the school auditorium. Hundreds of students from the pre-primary, primary & secondary sections, along with all the teachers and staff of the school, were present and celebrated this occasion. The school echoed with patriotic fervour as the teachers and staff drew scenes of Independence Day celebrations, sang patriotic songs, performed in fancy dress, and even wore tri-coloured clothes to mark the occasion. The day began with the honour of hoisting the Indian tricolour flag by Principal Fr. Amritlal Toppo, S.J. The Commanding Officer, Mr Johnsy Koshy, gave a Salute and Slogan command to all the students, teachers & staff, followed by the National Anthem. Asst. School Captain Master Kush Khare gave the Pledge. The entire school courtyard reverberated with the rhythmic Patriotic Song sung by the students’ group ‘Vande Matram, Jai Ho, ‘Hame Bharat kehte hai’, ‘Taqat watan ki hamse hai’ etc. Tiny Tots from the Primary section danced to a patriotic song. Hundreds of students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity. An inspiring speech was given by the Secondary Section teacher, Mr Ganesh Xalxo. Master of Ceremonies was done by the teacher, Mrs Amber Abid and students of the Secondary Section. An excellent speech on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day was given by the School Captain, Master Agha Abdul Ali Khan. To mark the importance of the day, Superior & Manager Fr. Kapil Xaxa SJ, Vice Principal Fr. Fabianus Xalxo SJ, Bursar Fr. Campion School, Bhopal, celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit through a colourful and inspiring programme presented by the Pre-Primary and Primary students at the Loyola Auditorium. The programme was organised to instil in the young learners a deep sense of patriotism, respect for the nation and gratitude towards the freedom fighters who made India's independence possible. The auditorium came alive with the vibrant colours of the national flag and the cheerful participation of the little Campionites. The celebration was graced by the presence of the Principal, Rev. Fr. Amritlal Toppo, S.J., Manager Fr. Kapil Xaxa SJ, Vice Principal Fr. Fabianus Xalxo SJ, Manager Fr. Blacius Kullu SJ, Headmistress Sr. Renisha AC, Sr. Deepshikha and other dignitaries, whose presence encouraged and motivated the young performers. Campion School, Arera Colony, Bhopal, organised a vibrant KG-I Tiny Tots Fancy Dress Competition on the inspiring theme “Patriotism.” The event was organised under the able leadership of Sister Deepshikha to nurture patriotic values among young learners and introduce them to inspiring personalities who have contributed to the nation and humanity. The little Campionites came dressed as great freedom fighters, national heroes and inspiring personalities. The tiny tots beautifully portrayed personalities such as Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Mahatma Gandhi, Rani Lakshmibai, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Jawaharlal Nehru, Mother Teresa and several other eminent figures. Dressed in colourful, meaningful costumes, the children confidently stepped onto the stage and delivered a few lines about the personalities they portrayed. Their innocent smiles, enthusiasm and confident performances filled the atmosphere with patriotic spirit and pride. The programme was graced by the presence of Vice Principal Father Fabianus Xalxo, Father Blacius, Headmistress Sister Renisha AC and Sister Jacinta, whose presence encouraged and motivated the young participants. A Free Medical Check-up Camp was organised at Campion School, Bhopal, in collaboration with NAYAA and Radcliffe, with the objective of promoting health awareness and ensuring the well-being of students and members of the school community. The Feast Day of St. Ignatius of Loyola is celebrated today exceptionally and spiritually with great Devotion, fervour, Enthusiasm and zeal in the Loyola Auditorium by the Pre Primary, Primary and Secondary sections of the Campion School, Arera Colony Bhopal. Special prayers will mark the celebrations of the feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola. The event was presided over by the Principal Fr. Amritlal Toppo S.J., Vice principal Fabianus Xalxo SJ, & the school Superior Fr. Kapil Xaxa S.J. Headmistress Sr. Renisha AC. The programme commenced solemnly with a grand welcoming and escort for the Fathers and Brothers to the Loyola auditorium and proceeded for the traditional lighting of the lamp & felicitation of fathers and brothers with tika, stalk, bouquets and greeting cards. The Lighting of the lamp was done by the Superior & Manager Fr. Kapil S.J., along with the Principal Fr. Amritlal Topp S.J., vice Principal Fr. Fabianus Xalxo S.J., Headmistress Sister Renisha A.C., Bursar Fr. Blacius Kullu S.J. Thereafter the Welcome Speech and a Prayer of the faithful presented. A beautiful welcome dance was presented by the supporting staff of the primary section. Significance of the day presented by the students. A mesmerizing, rhythmic prayer dance evoked the blessings of the Almighty. The life of St. Ignatius was presented in the form of a dance drama. Merriment was added to the programme by a melodious wishing song and a foot-tapping, lively celebration dance. Apart from special prayers, lots of other colourful cultural programmes will be organized at Campion School to mark the patron saint day. This was followed by a Celebration dance and variety entertainment programme staged by the students of the schools. Blessings were given by Fr. Principal. The Feast Day of Our Lady of Carmel was celebrated with great devotion and fervour in a very special and spiritual way by the school management, staff, and students of the Primary Section in the Loyola Auditorium of Campion School, Bhopal. Special prayers marked the celebration. Feast of Mount Carmel. The Carmel feast is celebrated in honour of the mother of Carmel, the Patroness of Apostolic Carmelite Sisters. This day is celebrated by the Campion family as the school feast with great enthusiasm. The programme commenced solemnly with a grand welcome for the Guest of the Occasion, Headmistress Sr. Renisha AC, Principal Fr. Amritlal Toppo S.J., Sister Victoria, Sister Harshit, Sister Jasinta Toppo, and other sisters to the auditorium by the students & teachers. Thereafter, the lighting of the lamp was done by Superior & Manager Fr. Kapil Xaxa, Principal Fr. Amritlal Toppo S.J., Headmistress Sr.Renisha AC, other Sisters, etc. Floral & sapling felicitation, along with greeting cards of all the sisters, were done by the students of the primary section. Thereafter, the Programme started by seeking the Almighty’s blessings through a prayer service by the tiny tots. Apart from special prayers, lots of other colourful cultural programmes, prayer dance, Bible reading, wishing dance, and celebration dances were organised at Campion School to mark this day. The Primary section teacher highlighted the importance of the Carmel sisters and the Carmel Feast through the ‘Story of Carmel’ documentary. Fr. Principal, in his message, told the students of the primary section about the importance of this Carmel Feast Day through his short speech. This celebration and felicitation programme was prepared under the guidance of Headmistress Sr. Renisha AC and the teachers of the primary section.
