BAAL MELA MARKS CHILDREN’S DAY IN SECONDARY SECTION. CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATED WITH FUN & FROLIC AT CAMPION

Campion School, Arera Colony celebrated Children’s Day today with full zeal, Fun, Frolic and Enthusiasm on School Premises. The school organised a ‘Baal Mela’ to mark Children’s Day. A special celebration was organized by the school management, teachers and staff for the students. The programme began with the Lighting of the lamp & garlanded on the photo of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru by Principal Fr. Dr. Athnas Lakra S.J., Superior and Manager Fr. Kapil, Vice Principal Fr. Alok Kujur., Headmistress Sr. Renisha A.C. and students. After the Formal opening declaration of Fete by the Principal father field on the school premises was abuzz with activities. This Year to celebrate Children’s Day with a difference, the School organised a Fair, Fete or Stalls, especially for Students today at the school premises. An array of stalls with mouth-watering food items, exciting games stall, DJ, Camel ride, Paint your plant green, Selfie point, Talent hunt, and surprising gifts were the main attractions of the fete. The fair, held at the playground, made the school premises more vibrant and cheerful. The teachers put up various food stalls offering a variety of lip-smacking snacks. Multiple stalls of food items and fun games for the students were put up by enthusiastic teachers on the School grounds. It was a festive atmosphere with children accompanying by their school friends and participating in various activities. The idea was to look beyond the curriculum and celebrate their individuality. Fete was a wonderful day filled with much laughter, fun and community spirit-building activities.  The Cultural Committee, and the wider teacher body, worked tirelessly to prepare for the day. The rides, games, Mouth-watering food arena, dancing, DJ, and The main attraction of the day for which the students were waiting was Live DJ & Rock Band and live entertainment were all​extremely successful. The school’s Live DJ Rock band also played some foot-tapping music. Students took turns to shake a leg on the dance floor. These events aren’t just a celebration but also develop planning, organization and team effort abilities in the students. They are creatively designed, encouraging 100% participation of students and teachers. Various activities and events were organized and performed by teachers. Programmes included informative play, enactment and songs. Colourful programmes were presented by teachers of the school to celebrate Children's Day. It was a fun-filled day for students of School. The smiles, laughter and giggles added to the charm of the day. “Baal-Mela” concluded with a jam session where students rocked the floor on foot tapping numbers. Prizes distribution also took place at the end of the programme. Principal Fr. Dr. Athnas Lakra S.J., expressed gratitude to all the participants. Vice-Principal teachers and all the students were present to make the occasion a great success and a memorable one.

CHILDREN'S DAY WAS CELEBRATED WITH GREAT ENTHUSIASM, FUN AND FROLIC IN THE PRIMARY SECTION.

Children's Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm, fun and frolic. The students were allowed to come in colourful dresses which added to the colourful celebration. The programme started with the lighting of the lamp by the Head boy, Asst. Head girl of Primary and some student representatives along with the members of management. A Special prayer session was organised with best wishes for their future life and blessings from the teachers. Teachers presented a prayer dance which was really a soulful rendition.KG teachers stole the show with their energetic dance performance. The icing on the cake was 'the Bollywood Tadka' in which teachers performed on some catchy Bollywood numbers. The children enjoyed the programme very much as their faces radiated their inner happiness.


SUPER CHEF JUNIOR 2024 - SEASON VIII

Jagran School of Hospitality and Tourism (JLU) organized ‘Super Chef Junior 2024 - Season VIII’ from the 24th of October to the 26th of October. Many schools participated. Campion school also took part in it. All the teams had to qualify two rounds to reach the final. 

Top 10 Teams competed for the top three.

Each Team had to prepare the following using the ingredient’s given in the basket.

One starter 

One Vegetarian Dish OR One Non-Vegetarian Dish

One Rice/ Noodles/Pasta Preparation

One Desert 

The Super Chef Junior was bagged by Arush Saxena & Achintya Sahu of class 12th.

CBSE & THINK STARTUP YOUTH IDEATHON 2024

CBSE & Think Startup organized Youth Ideathon 2024, a competition for Budding Entrepreneurs. The competition took place over a span of two months, with 50,000+ teams and 30,000+ schools across India. Our school also participated in it.

Two of our teams reached the Top 1500 across India and the students have been awarded a Certificate of Merit are:-

CAMPIONITES CELEBRATED THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS “DEEPAWALI” WITH FULL ZEAL, ENTHUSIASM AND RELIGIOUS FERVOUR. FOLK SONGS, RAMAYAN SKIT, AND FOLK DANCE PRESENTED BY THE STUDENTS

Deepawali was celebrated with full zeal, enthusiasm and religious fervour in Campion School Bhopal yesterday by the Primary & secondary section students before going for the Deepawali Holidays. Various cultural programmes, Folk dances, skits, and plays were organised on this occasion. The programme began with the Lighting of the Lamp and Diyas did by Chief Guest of the occasion Principal Fr. Dr Athnas Lakra S.J., along with Vice Principal Fr. Alok Kujur S.J., Bursar Fr. Blacius Kullu S.J., Headmistress Sr. Renisha, Senior teacher Mr. Mahendra Kothari, Miss Veena Bhambhal mam, Secondary Staff Secretary Mrs. Komal Sharma,etc. The melodic greeting songs highlighted Deepawali’s message.  Students presented a Beautiful Deep dance. Members of the Cultural Committee and all the teachers of the school organised different programmes on the auspicious occasion of Deepawali for the students. Various competitions were organised under the banner of Inter-house from Std. VI to X. Fashion Show competition on ethnic wear shown by the students. Skit and folk songs were presented highlighting the show. Hundreds of students from primary displayed their items in a very innovative way - decorating them with colourful dupattas, and pictures of gods and goddesses and making various designs of Rangoli ranging from geometrical to floral patterns. The whole display was overwhelming. The items prepared by the girls' students included different types of Rangolis, candles, diyas and pooja thalis which were very colourful and decorated with ribbons, sparkles, beads, shells, stars, mirrors, glitters etc. Fancy dress, Rangoli competition, Diya making and other such events were organised for the students and their active participation in these events made it more memorable. Children brought sweets and exchanged them with each other. The respective class teachers organized games, songs and dances which the children thoroughly enjoyed. Fr. Principal highlighted the Significance of the day & enlightened the staff and students with the message of Deepawali. At the end of the programme, results were declared and according to the presentation in all the competitions.

INAUGURATION OF NEW SKATING RINK AT CAMPION SCHOOL, BHOPAL

On October 19, 2024, Campion School in Arera Colony, Bhopal, celebrated the inauguration of its new full-sized skating rink, the first of its kind in Bhopal. Rev. Dr. Fr. Ranjit Tigga S.J., the provincial of Madhya Pradesh, officiated the ceremony by cutting the ribbon and blessing the rink alongside Rev. Fr. Kapil Xaxa S.J. A vibrant prayer dance by primary students added to the festivities. In his address, Fr. Provincial  expressed pride in this achievement, congratulating the team and  Campion community on winning first prize at the district level skating competition. He emphasized that "skating is not just a sport, but a way of life". Dr. Fr. Athnas highlighted the importance of physical fitness for children, warning against the distractions of mobile devices. Mr. Sanjay Mishra recalled the school's 20-year journey to realize this dream, dating back to when skating was introduced by Rev. Fr. Panka S.J. He encouraged students to dream big: "sapna Dekho, lakin bada sapna dekho". The event was attended by various dignitaries, including Dr. Fr. Pankaj S.J., Director Campion Learning Institute, Fr. B. Kullu S.J., Bursar, Fr. Rakesh Bara sj, Campion Parish Priest, Sr. Renisha AC, Campion Primary Headmistress,Sr. Deepshikha AC, Campion K.G. Headmistress , Sr. Kersensia HC, Fr. Alok Kujur sj vice principal, Campion School and several school officials, teachers, parents and students marking a proud moment for the entire Campion family. SWACHHTA PAKHWADA 2024

Campion School Bhopal has celebrated Swachhta Pakhwada 2024 as a part of Swachh Bharat Mission. A special morning assembly was organised on 16 October in the secondary wing. Pledge has been taken by students and teachers to keep their surrounding clean and healthy under the Guidance of Mr. Mahendra Kothari Sir. Principal Dr. Fr. Athnas Lakra S.J. has motivated the students and focussed on the importance of cleanliness.

Various competitions held on this occasion:

(I) Drawing/Poster Making (Class 7th and 8th)

(II) Slogan writing (Class 8th and 9th)

(III) Poem /Essay writing (Class 10th)

Approx 150 students participated in it and winners got certificate also.
