SCOUT “DEEKSHA PROGRAMME” CONDUCTED FOR CLASS VI STUDENTS AT CAMPION SCHOOL

With the objective of nurturing discipline, leadership, patriotism, and the spirit of service among young students, the Scout Deeksha Programme for Class VI students was successfully organised at Campion School, Arera Colony, Bhopal. The ceremony marked an important milestone in the students' journey as they formally entered the Scout movement. During the programme, the students were introduced to the aims, ideals, motto, promise, and laws of Scouting. They also learned about the values of self-discipline, teamwork, responsibility, community service, and respect for nature. The Scout Masters Mr.Vibhore Tiwari, Sanjay Mishra, Saranash, Meenakshi Tripathi explained the significance of the Scout uniform, salute, handshake, flag, and various Scout activities that help develop confidence, character, and leadership qualities. The students enthusiastically participated in the ceremony and proudly took the Scout Promise (Deeksha), pledging to uphold the values of honesty, service, and loyalty towards the nation and society. Addressing the gathering, Principal Fr. Amritlal Toppo, S.J. congratulated the newly inducted Scouts and encouraged them to become responsible, compassionate, and disciplined citizens. He emphasised that Scouting plays a vital role in shaping the character of young learners by instilling values of service, cooperation, and leadership. The programme concluded with the Scout Prayer and National Anthem. The event inspired the students to actively participate in Scout activities and dedicate themselves to the ideals of the Scout movement. The programme was conducted in the presence of Vice-Principal Fr. Fabianus Xalxo, Scout Masters, teachers, and school staff, who appreciated the enthusiasm and commitment displayed by the students.
