CAMPION SCHOOL ORGANISES DYNAMIC SATURDAY EXTRACURRICULAR AND SPORTS ACTIVITIES FOR HOLISTIC STUDENT DEVELOPMENT
Campion School, Bhopal, organised its dedicated Saturday Activity Program on campus. Designed to give students a productive break from standard academic routines, the initiative encourages physical fitness, creative expression, technical skill enhancement, and personal leadership, offering opportunities to explore interests, develop new skills, and promote holistic personality development beyond regular classroom learning. The Saturday Activity programme includes a wide variety of sports, arts, creative, cultural, technological and skill-based activities curated across different grade levels. To promote fitness, agility, and team spirit, the school hosted interactive sessions across multiple indoor and outdoor sports. Students can participate in Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Football, Cricket, Skating, Boxing, Chess, Carrom Board, Karate and Self-Defence. Football activities are planned for different age groups, including Classes VI, VII–VIII and IX–XII, while Cricket activities cater to Classes VI–VIII and IX–XII. Along with sports, students are encouraged to nurture their artistic and creative talents through Music (Instrumental), Dance, Painting, Drawing, Art & Calligraphy, Drama (Theatre) and Singing (Vocal). The programme also provides opportunities to develop essential modern-day skills through Computer (Hardware & Software), Public Speaking, Career Orientation Guidance and Band activities. The Saturday Activities are designed to encourage teamwork, discipline, creativity, confidence, leadership, physical fitness and communication skills among students. Through regular participation, students get a platform to discover their talents, pursue their interests and learn important life skills in an engaging environment. Under the Leadership of Principal Fr. Amritlal Toppo SJ and guidance of Vice Principal Father Fabianus Xalxo SJ and Sister Jasinta Campion School, Bhopal continues to focus on the all-round development of every student, providing a balanced blend of academics, sports, arts, technology and co-curricular activities. The school campus buzzed with energy throughout the day as students actively participated in their selected disciplines, demonstrating enthusiasm and sportsmanship across all activities.
