Four roller skaters from Campion School, Bhopal, have been selected to represent the Madhya Pradesh team at the 21st Ice Skating National Championship 2026. The selected athletes have already reached Dehradun, Uttarakhand, where they will compete and represent the state at the national level. The championship will be held from 25 to 30 June 2026 at the Himadri Ice Skating Rink in Dehradun and is being organised by the Ice-Skating Association of India. The selected Campion School skaters are Rishika Shinde, Sambhav Mishra, Prathamesh Vishwakarma, and Shaun Shelvin Xalxo, all secondary-class students. These skaters will compete in various age groups and categories of ice skating, representing both their school and the state of Madhya Pradesh. Their selection was based on their outstanding performances and qualifications in previously held state-level competitions. The athletes are now undergoing rigorous training and regular practice on the ice-skating rink to prepare for the national championship and deliver their best performance. All four skaters are training under the guidance of Mr Sanjay Mishra, Physical Education Teacher and Coach at Campion School. The school Principal, Fr. Amritlal Toppo, S.J., Vice Principal, Fr. Fabianus Xalxo, S.J., and Mr Johnsy Koshy, Head of the Physical Education Department, congratulated the four skaters and their coach, Mr Sanjay Mishra. They extended their best wishes to the athletes for representing both the school and Madhya Pradesh and expressed confidence in their excellent performance at the championship.
