The House system is of great importance to school life. Its function is to inculcate the spirit of healthy competition among students and encourage it within the school. With this thought Campion School Arera Colony, Bhopal organised Inter-House Literary Competitions. The Chief Guest of the occasion was Principal Fr. Dr. Athnas Lakra SJ. The floral welcome of the Chief Guest, Fr. Principal and Vice Principal Fr. Manoj Minj and all the judges and the moderators of the occasion was done. The Judges of this occasion was Mrs. Sarita Chacko, Mrs. Sangeeta Dominic and Megha Fadnavis and the moderators were Mrs. Reena Majumdar and Mrs. Lovina Luke. All of them are from Primary Section. In this Inter House Literary Competitions Std. VI students participated in Spell Bee, students from VII & VIII participated in Quiz. The questions put forth to the teams were intriguing, exciting and made the audience go ‘aah!’ and clap when the teams answered correctly. IX & X students show cased their talent in Panel Discussion. The main purpose of a panel discussion is for the panelists to share their wisdom and provide insights to create real value and takeaways for the audience. It’s an “up close and personal” discussion among the panelists and with the audience. In the end an Inter-House Nukkad Natak Competition was organized for the students of Grades XI to XII. The theme was ‘Social Issues’. All the Houses picked up various issues prevalent in the society and worked hard at it. The topics were: Nasha Mukti, Stop Bullying, Corona se Bachav, Brotherhood and Gender Equality. Students enthusiastically participated in the Inter House Competition. Students from all four houses Gandhi, Tagore, Nehru and Ashoka House participated in these competitions. Each House is under the charge of a House Master or House Mistress along with House Captain and Prefects who shoulder the responsibility through the ministerial system and ensure a smooth and efficient functioning of the House. Inter-House competitions are organized from time to time in various fields to promote competitive spirit among all four houses.The Cultural committee and the House Incharges teachers organize and executes various Inter-House competitions during the academic year. At the end of the programme, results were declared and according to the presentation in the different competitions, the Judges declared “Ashoka House” as the Winner House of this competition. Principal Fr. Dr. Athnas Lakra SJ presented the Winner Trophy to the respective Ashoka House. House Mistresses Mrs. Shikha Tiwari & Assistant House Mistresses Mrs. Prasannta Kaur along with the House Prefect and the Assistant House Prefect of Ashoka House. The Master of the ceremony was done by Mrs. Sonali Shrivastava. A vote of thanks was given by secondary teacher Mrs. Supti Biswas.
