“TAGORE HOUSE” WON THE TITLE OF THE INTER-HOUSE LITERARY COMPETITION. INTER-HOUSE LITERARY COMPETITIONS WERE HELD AT CAMPION SCHOOL

Campion School, Bhopal, organised a series of engaging Inter-House Literary Competitions aimed at nurturing students’ language skills, creativity, confidence, critical thinking and communication abilities. The competitions provided students with a vibrant platform to showcase their literary talent and compete in a spirit of healthy competition. The programme was graced by the Chief Guest and Principal, Rev. Fr. Amritlal Toppo S.J., along with the Vice Principal, Fr. Fabianus Xalxo S.J., and the management member, Mrs Komal Sharma. Mrs Chandra Bhargava, Mrs Sadhana Agarwal, and Mrs Rajashree Kamat served as judges at this event. Their presence encouraged the students and added significance to the occasion. The events were thoughtfully designed for different age groups. Class VI students participated in the Spell Bee Competition, where they demonstrated their vocabulary, spelling accuracy and command over the English language. The competition tested their concentration, memory and quick thinking. For Class VII, a Masquerade Competition was organised, allowing students to express themselves creatively through characters, presentation and effective communication. Their performances reflected imagination, confidence and originality. The Class VIII students participated in an Inter-House Quiz, which tested their general knowledge, awareness, presence of mind and teamwork. The enthusiastic participation of the students made the quiz an exciting and intellectually stimulating event. For Classes IX and X, the Romantic Rhapsody Competition provided students with an opportunity to explore literary expression, emotions, presentation skills and creativity. The participants presented their ideas with confidence and expressive flair. The senior students of Classes XI and XII took part in a Panel Discussion, where they expressed their views on relevant topics and demonstrated their ability to articulate ideas, listen to different perspectives and engage in constructive discussion. The event encouraged critical thinking, logical reasoning and effective communication. The competitions witnessed enthusiastic participation from students representing the various Houses. The participants displayed remarkable preparation, confidence, creativity and team spirit throughout the events. The school management appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers in making the competitions meaningful and successful. Such literary activities at Campion School continue to provide students with opportunities to develop communication skills, creativity, critical thinking, confidence and a love for language and literature. The Inter-House Literary Competitions thus proved to be an enriching and enjoyable learning experience, reflecting the school’s commitment to the holistic development of its students.
