Demonstrating their commitment towards environmental conservation and sustainable living, the students of Campion School, Bhopal, enthusiastically participated in a Plantation Drive organised on the school campus. The programme was conducted under the initiative of Amrit Hubrit Mahabhiyan, Nagar Palik Nigam Bhopal, led by Fr. Principal Amritlal Toppo SJ, Vice Principal Fr. Fabianus Xalxo SJ and in-charge Mr Johnsy Koshy, to promote environmental awareness and encourage young citizens to contribute towards a greener future. The plantation drive witnessed active participation from students, teachers, and school authorities, who collectively planted a variety of saplings across the campus. The initiative aimed to instil the importance of protecting the environment, conserving biodiversity, and combating climate change through collective action. Addressing the gathering, the school authorities emphasised that every tree planted today is an investment in a healthier and more sustainable tomorrow. Students were encouraged not only to plant saplings but also to nurture and protect them, understanding that caring for nature is a shared responsibility. Principal Fr. Amritlal Toppo SJ appreciated the students' enthusiastic involvement and highlighted the significance of community participation in making cities cleaner, greener, and more environmentally resilient. They urged the young generation to become ambassadors of environmental conservation by adopting eco-friendly practices in their daily lives. The event concluded with a pledge by the students to protect nature, conserve natural resources, and actively participate in environmental initiatives.
