‘The more you praise and celebrate life; the more there is in life to celebrate’. Principal’s Day- A celebration of the students, by the students, for their mentor, philosopher and guide, Rev. Father Dr. Athnas Lakra SJ took place with great fervour and enthusiasm, on 20th January 2025, his birthday in the Loyola Auditorium. Rev. Father Principal was accorded a traditional welcome, with the Pre Primary students, who joyously wavered pompoms, on his arrival. After invoking’s God’s blessings, by lighting the lamp by Fr. Dr. Athnas Lakra S.J., Superior & Manager Fr. Kapil Xaxa S.J., Bursar Fr. Blacius., Headmistress Sr.Renisha, Sr. Deepshikha along with other dignitaries, a spiritual prayer service followed by a prayer dance was performed. The rhythmic dances and lyrical and melodious songs made the atmosphere jubiliant. Birthday songs were sung by the group of students to wish the Principal father on his birthday. Father was felicitated with bouquets and saplings by students representatives from KG 1 to V showcasing the love and respect for a Principal, whose legacy will be remembered fondly ‘Cake cutting’ made the day more ceremonious. Rev. Father Principal was very much touched by the adoration and enthusiasm of the Junior Campionites and blessed each and everyone with his impactful and emotional speech.
