Kushagra Bhatt, a Class IX student of the Secondary Section at Campion School, Arera Colony, Bhopal, delivered an outstanding performance at the 31st Euro Asia International WFSKO Open Karate Championship 2026, held recently at Priyadarshini Sports Complex, Mulund West, Mumbai, India. Competing in the 12 Years Individual Boys Kumite and Kata categories, Kushagra displayed exceptional skill and determination to win two Gold Medals. In recognition of his remarkable achievement, Kushagra was also awarded a Certificate of Merit. The championship was organized by the World Funakoshi Shotokan Karate Organization (WFSKO). The international event witnessed the participation of hundreds of karate athletes from 27 countries, including Japan, Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Malaysia, India, Zimbabwe, Australia, Portugal, Russia, the United States of America (USA), South Africa, and several other nations. Fabianus Xalxo S.J., Vice Principal, and Mr. Jonsy Koshy, Head of the Department of Physical Education, congratulated Kushagra on his remarkable international success. They expressed their pride in his achievement and wished him continued success in his future competitions.
