The Feast Day of Our Lady of Carmel was celebrated with great devotion and fervour in a very special and Spiritual Way by the School management, staff, and students of the Primary Section in the Loyola Auditorium of the Campion School, Bhopal. Special prayers will mark the celebrations of the Feast of Mount Carmel. The Carmel feast is celebrated in honour of the Mother of Carmel, the Patroness of Apostolic Carmelite Sisters. This day is celebrated as the school feast by the Campion family with great enthusiasm. The programme commenced solemnly by a grand welcoming of the Guest of the Occasion, Headmistress Sr.Renisha AC, Principal Fr.Dr. Athnas Lakra S.J., Sister Victoria, Sister Jasinta Toppo AC and other sisters to the auditorium by the students & teachers. Thereafter, the lighting of the lamp was done by Superior & Managar Fr. Kapil Xaxa, Principal Fr. Dr. Athnas Lakra S.J., Headmistress Sr.Renisha AC, other Sisters, etc. Floral & Saplings felicitation, along with greeting cards of all the sisters, were done by the students of the primary section. Thereafter, the Programme started by seeking the almighty’s blessings through a prayer service by the tiny tots. Apart from special prayers, lots of other colourful cultural programmes, prayer dance, Bible reading, wishing dance, and celebration dances were organized at Campion School to mark this day. The Primary section teacher highlighted the importance of the Carmel sisters and the Carmel Feast through the ‘Story of Carmel’ documentary. Fr. Principal, in his message, told the students of the primary about the importance of this Carmel Feast day through his short speech. This celebration and felicitation programme was prepared under the guidance of Headmistress Sr.Renisha AC and the teachers of the primary section. On this auspicious occasion, the Master of the ceremony was done by Primary section teacher Mrs. Reena Majumdar. A vote of thanks was given by the student of primary section.
